BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking essential carriageway resurfacing on A828 Connel Bridge between 17th May 2026 and 24th May 2026. Due to the nature of the works and the narrow width of the carriageway, works will take place overnight, with bridge closures to vehicular traffic. The closures are planned to run for around seven nights starting on 17th May, with nightly closures between 19:00 and 06:00. The programme will be weather dependent. D

BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland are planning to carry out essential resurfacing works on the A828 Connel Bridge. Full details can be found in the attached letter and location plan. Please also find the diversion route attached. Emergency services access will be maintained at all times. Should you have any queries regarding our proposals, please do not hesitate to contact us as shown in the attached letter.

There will be a public meeting to appoint a grazing committee for Airds Bay Common Grazing 7pm Monday 30th March at Taynuilt Golf Club . The meeting is open to all, particularly those interested or with useful experience from the other common grazings. The map below shows the rough area concerned outlined in red.
