A828 Connel Bridge Resurfacing
BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking essential carriageway resurfacing on A828 Connel Bridge between 17th May 2026 and 24th May 2026. Due to the nature of the works and the narrow width of the carriageway, works will take place overnight, with bridge closures to vehicular traffic. The closures are planned to run for around seven nights starting on 17th May, with nightly closures between 19:00 and 06:00. The programme will be weather dependent. D

UPDATE: 16/03/26 Due to the poor weather forecasted, the works on the A83 Arrochar Phase 2 have been cancelled and will now recommence on Sunday the 15th of March.
