Young Islanders Network has been engaging with Disability Equality Scotland and are pleased to share their current consultation events. This is part of the engagement for the Accessible Travel Framework working with Transport Scotland.
A series of online engagement opportunities will be hosted and are keen to engage with young people that might be able to offer island insight into these areas:
• 18/06/2026 – Island Communities: Ferry and Aviation Travel
• 01/07/2026 – Access to Healthcare in Remote Areas
• 30/07/2026 – Transport Network in Rural Areas
• 02/09/2026 – Community Transport in Rural and Remote Areas
• 07/09/2026 – Transport Network in Island Communities
